The Coronavirus crisis has turned the world upside down and shown how vulnerable we are to global phenomena that are out of our hands.
Crises can have their positive side, if you want to see it, and one of them is the willingness of citizens to help and contribute. To the surprise of some, solidarity is one of the bases of our survival, it is an essential element of our DNA.
UAL and the citizenship of Almería
This report by Canal Sur shows us how the University of Almeria and numerous volunteers from Almeria who own 3D printers have already manufactured more than 2,500 masks for healthcare personnel throughout Spain in their arduous task in front of the COVID-19. Gestures like this not only help to improve the working conditions of our health workers, they are also confirmation that the majority of citizens do not hesitate to get involved in this fight that concerns us all.
