Por iniciativa del CCI, SVS FEM s.r.o. preparó un modelo de vehículo genérico correspondiente a la categoría N2A y N3D (IWA 14).

El Informe Anual del Organismo de Reguladores Europeos de las Comunicaciones Electrónicas (ORECE) para 2022 destaca los principales acontecimientos y tendencias del mercado en el sector de las comunicaciones electrónicas en Europa durante los últimos 12 meses, centrándose en la dinámica del mercado y el desarrollo de las políticas públicas y las prácticas reguladoras de la Unión Europea. El informe presenta las perspectivas del ORECE, basadas en la experiencia y los conocimientos de las autoridades nacionales de reglamentación (ANR) miembros. Además, el informe describe la propia contribución del ORECE al desarrollo del sector de las comunicaciones electrónicas en Europa.

En septiembre de 2023, 22 países (todos menos Chipre, Letonia, Liechtenstein, Lituania y Eslovaquia) comunicaron alguna novedad en materia de legislación laboral.

This is the final report of the study “Assessment of the energy footprint of digital actions and services”. The study aims to increase transparency about the energy consumption of the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) sector, and to evidence the behavioural factors best suited to influence and to reduce its adverse impacts. Specifically, the scope of the study is to shed light on the too-often forgotten energy impact of ICT by providing a comprehensive overview of existing published estimates relating to the energy consumption of day-to-day digital actions and services, establishing simple and accurate estimates of the energy consumption for a limited number of these actions and services (ten in total), and creating communication materials for the purpose of disseminating these results via various communication channels. In doing so, this study gathers and provides evidence to help the European Commission identify mechanisms to address and mitigate the issue of ever-increasing energy consumption of the ICT sector, while achieving the RePowerEU Plan’s and European Green Deal’s objectives.

Information on the contribution of the EU budget to the European e digital transition is also provided; an overview of the implementation and performance of all the EU spending programmes for the 2021-2027 period in a concise and uniform format. In addition, it presents the implementation and the performance of those programmes for the 2014-2020 period for which relevant payments were still being implemented in 2022.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has spurred an intense debate on the future of the European security order and on the EU’s eastward enlargement. Following President Macron’s proposal to launch a new format for political and security cooperation in Europe in May 2022, the first Summit of the EPC took place in Prague in October and sent a strong message of European unity in the face of Russia’s aggression. However, as the 47 European leaders of the EPC prepare to gather for the second Summit in Moldova on 1 June 2023, the format still lacks a clear sense of purpose. This policy brief argues that the EPC could fulfil multiple roles, depending on convergence among its member states and on the scope for delivering added value compared to other European organisations. First, while clearly separate from the EU enlargement process, the EPC could complement it by fostering political engagement with EU aspirant members. Second, the EPC could evolve into an inclusive forum for security dialogue, building confidence among its members and helping prevent or manage crises. Third, the EPC could perform as a hub for differentiated cooperation, with groups of member states working together on security issues as well as on a broader agenda, such as education and connectivity. Flexibility is and should remain a strength of this format, but the sustainability of the EPC will depend on what it is able to deliver.
