The case concerns proceedings in which, following the Prosecutor General’s extraordinary appeal lodged in the applicant’s defamation case, the Chamber of Extraordinary Review and Public Affairs of the Supreme Court reversed the final civil-court judgment which had been given in the applicant’s favour over ten years earlier. It raises issues under Articles 6 § 1, 8 and 18 of the Convention.
