The EBA is the EU agency responsible for implementing a set of harmonised rules to regulate and supervise the banking sector across all EU countries. Its aim is to create a single market for banking products within the EU that is efficient, transparent and stable.
The EBA is launching an internship programme designed to bring in recent graduates in Economics, Finance, Data Science or similar degrees relevant to the field to the Authority’s Economic and Risk Analysis Department, so that they can contribute to various projects and topics.
The nature of your work will depend on the team to which you are assigned within the Economic and Risk Analysis Department.
Your day-to-day work may include, for example, assisting with coordination with EU and international institutions and external stakeholders, providing support to the EBA’s governing bodies, participating in the planning and monitoring of the EBA’s multi-annual work programme, and assisting with general administrative tasks to support the Unit.
Internships at the EBA are offered for an initial period of 6 (six) months and may be extended for a further period of up to 12 (twelve) months, not exceeding a total duration of 18 (eighteen) months. The conditions of the extension are subject to the intern’s performance and the agency’s future needs.
Requirements:
- Be a citizen of a Member State of the European Union³ or the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway).
- Have a thorough command of English.
- Candidates must have completed the first cycle of higher education (university education) or have obtained a full degree or its equivalent before submitting their application
Benefits:
- €2,096.82 per month.
