The European Central Bank is inviting applications for an internship within the Administration Directorate, which forms part of the ECB’s Directorate General Corporate Services. This directorate comprises three divisions offering a wide range of services, including technical management of facilities and buildings, logistics and infrastructure services, as well as security services. It works to reduce the environmental impact of the ECB’s operations and to continuously improve its services, making them more sustainable, innovative and people-centred.
Requirements:
- a bachelor’s degree or higher in facilities management, business or public administration, international relations, travel management, environmental and sustainability management, environmental protection, communications, event management, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, economics, econometrics, finance, information technology or another relevant field;
- a service-oriented mindset and a demonstrable interest in sustainable service management, for example, environmental considerations, processes, supplier and stakeholder management, and reporting;
- Experience in data analysis, report writing and data visualisation, as well as some knowledge and experience of relevant tools;
- advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite;
- advanced proficiency (C1) in English and intermediate proficiency (B1) in at least one other official EU language, in accordance with theCommon European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Knowledge and some practical experience in one or more of the following fields: service management, communications, quality assurance, supplier/contract management, stakeholder management, hospitality services, event management, process management, facilities management standards, business and data analysis, budget planning and reporting;
- experience in producing communication materials (such as presentations, infographics and articles);
- Knowledge of the requirements of relevant environmental standards and regulations, for example, ISO 14001, EMAS and ISO 14064;
- an analytical and innovative mindset;
- Experience in business data analysis and knowledge of data management and analysis tools.
