The European University Institute is seeking candidates for future internship positions to support the work of the Accounting Service, the Budget and Financial Affairs Service and the Internal Audit Office:
What the internships involve
There are three main profiles:
1. Accounting
- Entering financial data into systems (SAP)
- Administrative support
- Contribution to financial reporting (annual accounts)
- Accounting-related tasks
2. Finance
- Budget and invoice management
- Financial control and reimbursements
- Drafting of contracts
- Support with audits and documentation
- Involvement in projects (digitalisation, automation)
3. Internal audit
- Support with audits (data analysis, reports)
- Risk assessment and internal control
- Use of audit tools
- Preparation of documentation and reports
Requirements:
- Applicants must be nationals of Member States of the European Union or of candidate countries benefiting from a pre-accession strategy. However, a limited number of nationals from non-member states may be admitted on the basis of a specific agreement by the Secretary-General and subject to available resources.
- Have completed the first cycle of university studies and obtained a full degree or its equivalent before the application deadline. The minimum national qualifications required by the legislation of the country in which the degree was obtained can be found here.
- Have obtained your most recent university degree no more than three years prior to the application deadline. The three-year rule does not apply to scholarship holders enrolled in higher education studies at the time of applying for the scholarship at the EUI.
- Have a good knowledge of one of the EUI’s official languages and a satisfactory knowledge of another language, bearing in mind that English, French and Italian are the Institute’s main working languages.
