The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) offers university students and graduates a unique, first-hand insight into the workings of EUSPA and the EU institutions. Two types of internship are available:
- Regular paid placements (lasting up to twelve months) are advertised in the specific calls for applications listed below. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible, as eligible applications are assessed on a rolling basis.
- Short-term unpaid placements are available to fulfil and validate compulsory academic requirements (maximum duration of three months). To apply, please send the following documents in English to jobs@euspa.europa.eu: (1) CV and (2) cover letter, indicating your areas of interest within the Agency’s remit and explaining why the placement is necessary for educational purposes.
Eligibility criteria:
- Participants in the training programme must be nationals of the Member States of the European Union, Iceland and Norway.
- You must not have previously undertaken an internship at the Agency.
- Hold a recognised higher education qualification.
- Have some initial experience or specific knowledge in one of the Agency’s areas of work.
- Have a thorough knowledge of one official EU language and a satisfactory knowledge of another EU language, one of which must be English.
- Each application must be submitted via the GSA’s e-recruitment portal.
Benefits:
Participants will receive a monthly grant.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to a maximum of €1,500.
