Postdoctoral position in Computational Biology in Korea

• 1 postdoctoral position is immediately available in the group of Professor Razvan Stan at the Medical School of Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea. The project focuses on the in silico mechanisms of antibody activation during fever, and on the influence of temperature on the formation of immune complexes.
• The postdoctoral position is available for 2 years, with the possibility for extension for 1 year. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in computational sciences with proficiency in bioinformatics and molecular dynamics. Experience with working in a wet-lab environment is not necessary. Ability to work independently, be proactive and converse in English are expected.
• The net salary is around 3000 USD/month. It is important that the person be result-oriented, with a strong focus on publications. We encourage the candidates to apply for independent research grants from the National Research Foundation of Korea.
