The Tothova Lab has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow/staff scientist for a funded project focused on epigenetics of blood cancers. The lab is located in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a Harvard Medical School-affiliated institution in Boston, USA.
This lab is a multi-disciplinary team of physician-scientists, scientists and computational biologists. They use genomics and a wide range of molecular and cellular biological techniques to elucidate the molecular basis of blood cancer, with the aim of translating these insights into novel therapies for patients. Their specific focus is to understand the role of chromatin modifiers and epigenetic factors during disease progression of blood cancers, and to find novel therapeutic opportunities in myeloid malignancies, including myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
