Every year, the Schwarzkopf Foundation, in collaboration with the European Youth Parliament, presents the “European Youth of the Year” award.
Who can take part:
- This opportunity allows you to nominate a young person aged between 18 and 26 in the year the award is received, who is actively involved in at least one of the member states of the Council of Europe and has demonstrated a commitment to improving Europe through efforts to promote a pluralistic, open and inclusive society, or in the fight against injustice and discrimination.
- Candidates must have achieved outstanding results and aspire to actively defend their ideas in the future.
Prize:
- The prize consists of €5,000, which must be used exclusively for the implementation of a project. The project must promote a pluralistic European society, based on solidarity and the values of a peaceful, diverse and inclusive Europe.
- The winner of the prize will become part of a European network and the jury of the Schwarzkopf Europa Prize.
How to apply:
In your application, you will be asked to provide details of your project idea, including: the target audience, the location, the planned activities, the timetable and any partners or collaborators involved.
