Graduate School of Engineering Pedagogy, Psychology and Applied Linguistics offers a 3-month scientific internship program titled as “Developing a Model of Increasing the Learners’ Bilingual Professional Capacity in the Virtual Laboratory Environment”. The program includes acquaintance with the project, setting tasks, comparative study of the academic values of virtual laboratories in different technical universities of various countries, developing a new model for increasing bilingual professional capacity and conducting some other stages of research under the guidance of a professor-supervisor Liudmila Petrovna Khaliapina – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, h-index 9.
They invite highly motivated postgraduate students and postdocs interested in the career of university lecturers who would realize the principles of content and language integrated learning for the system of higher professional education (CLIL, EMI) implementing didactic possibilities of new virtual educational environment in the forms of virtual laboratories.
The scope of work in the framework of the research project is the following: preparation and joint publications affiliated with SPbPU, development of additional international education programs, a mobile application, training manuals, joint scientific guidance of bachelor’s- and master’s degree students; submission of the international project application for an external science foundation.
Application
Applications are accepted throughout the year, except for the summer break. Internships will be held from September 15 to December 15 or from February 15 to April 15.
The internship is free of charge; during the internship it is possible to get a job as an assistant to a Visiting Professor in modern languages; accommodation in the university dormitory is also provided.
