The European Labor Authority, a new body Union in the field of cross-border mobility of labor, is seeking for a Executive Director.

Its purpose is to facilitate the access of individuals and employers to information relating to their rights and obligations; to support cooperation between EU Member States on transboundary control of the application of relevant European law, in particular by promoting joint inspections; and find a solution through mediation in case of cross-border litigation between national authorities.

Profile
The Executive Director leads and represents the Authority. He / she is the representative the Authority and its image vis-à-vis the outside world and must be independent in the exercise of its his duties and responsible for his activities before the Board of Directors.
Tasks
Specific responsibilities of the Executive Director include, amog others, the following:
ensure the functioning of the Authority in accordance with its founding regulation;
develop and achieve the strategic objectives of the Authority in accordance with its missions;
communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including explaining the activities of the Authority and the EU’s mobility policies. workforce;
manage the staff of the Authority on a daily basis, including its recruitment;
