Are you involved in a heritage project, as an individual or as part of an organisation, that deserves recognition at European level? The call for entries for the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards 2026 is now open. This is your chance to showcase your outstanding contributions to cultural heritage and compete for Europe’s most prestigious awards in this field.
The Awards recognise outstanding achievements in the protection, conservation, research and promotion of cultural heritage, covering a wide range of categories and types of projects, from tangible to intangible heritage.
Nominations are invited in the following five categories:
- Conservation and Adaptive Re-use00
- Research
- Education, training and skills
- Awareness raising and citizen participation
- Champions of heritage
The Awards were created in 2002 by the European Commission and have since been managed by Europa Nostra. The European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards are supported by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
