Erasmus+ Jean Monnet: Networks
The Jean Monnet Networks aim to constitute the support to schools and VET providers for boosting knowledge on how to teach European Union subjects, they will also give an international edge to the learning exercise.

The activities will facilitate a common understanding on learning methodologies about European Union matters among practitioners working in different contexts, facing different challenges and constraints due the national legislations and the structure of the curricula.

The objective of the networks will be twofold. On the one hand, the schools/VET providers will exchange information and practices on what and how they make their learners become more knowledgeable about the EU. On the other hand, teachers may have mobility experiences of a few days to organise and deliver co-teaching / co-tutoring with their partners.

Activities supported
Networks can carry out one or more of the following activities:

  • Exchanging information on content and promoting results of methodologies applied;
  • Enhancing cooperation between different schools/VET providers giving them international experience and a European standing;
  • Exchanging knowledge and mobility for co-teaching;
  • Fostering cooperation and creating a solid and sustainable knowledge platform among schools and VET providers.

The project should last three years.

Maximum grant award: EUR 300,000.

Who can apply
One school or one VET institute established in an Erasmus+ Programme country on behalf of the partners in the proposed network. Minimum 5 schools and/or VET providers established in at least 3 different Erasmus+
