The Representation of the European Commission in Spain will participate in the 82nd edition of the Madrid Book Fair with the #PabellónEuropa. The European Union comes back for the second consecutive year with its activities, workshops and talks aimed at children, young people and adults, with the participation of more than 200 speakers and 60 activities that will address the most important topics for Europeans. The #PavilionEurope is located in block 28C of the Fair.
From May 26 to June 11, and under the motto of the EU, United in Diversity, the Europe Pavilion will become a space for cultural diversity, bringing together leading figures in science communication, narrative, poetry, theater, film, translation, comics, illustration and even music. And with Europe as the backbone of this cultural event.

As last year, there will also be storytelling and illustration workshops for children, and the most diverse genres of literature will be addressed, from science fiction to thrillers.
In addition, the #PabellónEuropa will also host workshops on relevant topics such as mental health, equality and solidarity with Ukraine. Literary activities will be organized around World Environment Day, the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Year of Skills 2023, taking advantage of the fact that the central theme of this edition of the Madrid Book Fair is science.
In addition to literature, there will also be a wide variety of cultural activities, such as concerts, debates and exhibitions.
