The European Central Bank in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) is offering an internship in the Administration Directorate, within the Directorate General for Corporate Services. In your role as an intern in the Directorate, you will be part of a five-person multidisciplinary procurement team. You will work on procurement-related activities in close collaboration with colleagues from the three divisions of the Administration Directorate: Administrative Services, Facilities and Security.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, public administration, commercial law, facilities management, property management, procurement or another relevant field;
- A general interest in European affairs, central banking and issues relevant to the administration of our Directorate;
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite;
- Advanced proficiency (C1) in English and intermediate proficiency (B1) in at least one other official EU language, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Duties to be performed:
- Contribute to all aspects of procurement procedures, for example by carrying out market research;
- Support the procurement team by collecting, maintaining, cleaning, analysing and processing data and documentation related to procurement;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the three divisions of the Directorate to support them effectively in their procurement activities;
- Conduct research and draft reports;
- prepare and deliver presentations relating to the team’s activities;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with all parties involved in public procurement procedures, including those outside the Directorate.
Benefits:
- €1,170 per month plus a housing allowance
