
Applications are invited for this internship project at the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (Europol). The aim of this internship project announcement is to establish a reserve list of successful candidates for the Internal Communication & Protocol Team within the Corporate Communications Unit (CAB-2) of the Corporate Affairs Bureau of Europol. This internship will focus on providing support to high-level visits and other protocol matters and event management.
Requirements:
- Be a national of an EU Member State.
- Be of legal age.
- Hold a level of education equivalent to a full university degree or vocational training relevant to the duties of Europol (only diplomas issued by authorities of EU Member States and diplomas recognised as equivalent by the relevant bodies of EU Member States are accepted).
- Good knowledge of English and level B1 in another European Union language.
- Not have undertaken any form of work placement or employment within a European institution, agency or body (including Europol) for more than six weeks .
Duties to be performed:
- Providing support in the preparation of high-level visits and events from protocol as well as organisational perspective;
- Assisting during the execution of visits;
- Supporting the Protocol function in the team in every-day administration linked to the organisation of the high-level visits and event management;
- Drafting processes related to the implementation of the protocol;
- Maintaining overviews and logs;
- Carrying out desktop market research for protocol items (provide its analysis and support the procurement process) under supervision;
- Any other activities requested by the internship supervisor.
