Job Functions

Develop new 3D casting techniques for non-photocurable biodegradable polymers, integrate magnetic structures for efficient manipulation, and optimize biodegradability while maintaining robust robotic performance.

Expected Results:

Establish new 3D casting protocols, create functional micro/nanorobot prototypes with integrated magnetic elements, and evaluate their mechanical strength, magnetic responsiveness, and biodegradation profiles.

Selection Criteria

Career Stage:

Researchers must be PhD candidates, meaning they must not already hold a PhD at the time of recruitment. Researchers who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis but have not yet formally been awarded the PhD degree will not be considered eligible.

Mobility Rule:

Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the three years immediately preceding their recruitment.

Nationality:

Researchers from any country are eligible, including those from non-European countries.

Required Documents

  • Detailed Curriculum Vitae (with a list of publications, participation in funded research projects, other qualifications if applicable)
  • Certified copy of academic degree(s) in the original language along with a certified translation into English and/or Diploma Supplement (if applicable)
  • Certified copies of official academic transcripts related to all courses taken to earn each degree (bachelor’s/master’s or equivalent), translated into English, and corresponding grade point average
  • Copy of passport (or, for EU citizens, equivalent ID document)
  • Two letters of recommendation

Required Education: BSc/MSc in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, or related fields.
