Junior engineer with a Master degree in electronic engineering in Spain

The Polytechnic University of Madrid is offering a position as a junior engineer with a Master degree in electronic engineering.

Duties of the position

The appointee will be expected to design and micro-fabricate sensors based on electroacoustic resonators; characterize sensors; develop database and develop and applicate algorithms based on machine learning for sensor reading.

Required selection criteria

Applicants should possess experience in design, simulation, and characterization of electronic circuits on PCB (LTSpice, Proteus); proficiency in advanced electronic instrumentation; previous programming experience (Python, C, LabVIEW); experience in machine learning models; proficiency in Python and data processing libraries (Keras, OpenCV, Sci-kit learn, numpy, pandas); proficiency in MS Office, Latex, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD; mechanical skills; good level of English and Spanish; goal-oriented mindset, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills and ability to address new topics: microfabrication technologies, high-frequency oscillator design, encapsulation techniques. Previous entrepreneurial experience will be valued.
