The Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission (DG EAC) is inviting anyone who is over 18 years old and a legal resident in a country participating in the Creative Europe programme to share their favourite European song and get a chance to win amazing prizes.
Who can participate
Anyone over 18 years old and a legal resident in a country participating in the Creative Europe programme: EU 28 + Iceland, Norway, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Republic of Serbia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Tunisia, Armenia and Kosovo.
How to apply
Participants need to share their favourite European song, linking from the official YouTube account of the artist. Also, they should also include a short motivation to why the song belongs on the ultimate #EUSummerPlaylist. This can be a happy memory or a story around the lyrics of the song. The link and the short description will be considered as the participants’ entry to the competition.
All entries must include the artist’s name and the title of the song. Only songs from European artists, residing in or coming from any of the Creative Europe programme countries, are eligible.
Prizes
Based on the originality of the entries’ description, three winners will be awarded online vouchers for a music experience of their choice, distributed as follows:
• 1st place: Online voucher worth €200;
• 2nd place: Online voucher worth €100;
• 3rd place: Online voucher worth €75.
