The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced team leader to join the Information Management division as the Head of Digital Workplace Service. This role will report directly to the Head of the Department of Core Services and will be responsible for leading and enhancing our service management and digital workplace environment.

General conditions:

Specific conditions:
1. University degree (minimum of four years) that must have been obtained by the closing date of this vacancy notice,and at least 9 years of professional experience from the time when a university degree was awarded,
or
2. University degree of three years that must have been obtained by the closing date of this vacancy notice, and at least 10 years of professional experience from the time when a university degree was awarded.

You will need:
Professional experience
- At least 3 years of managing or leading small and cross-functional project teams.
- In supplier contract management. Implementing and managing supplier contracts to ensure delivery of the objectives in alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards.
- in budget management and financial planning for IT projects.
- In managing and developing IT specialists and teams, with a focus on training, mentorship, and performance improvement
Skills & knowledge
- Ability to prioritise and organise own and other’s tasks;
- Ability to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement;
- Ability to navigate through cultures and stakeholders’ expectations, with an aim to deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Certificate in ITIL.
- Extensive experience in implementing IT service management on relevant IT platforms, ideally ServiceNow.
- Knowledge on collaboration and productivity tools such as Office 365, SharePoint.
- Ability to execute large-scale projects using Agile methodologies such as SAFe.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in digital workplace solutions.
