Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology in Hong Kong

The Department of Psychology of the University of Hong Kong is offering a position as an associate professor in clinical psychology.

Duties of the position

The appointee will be expected to maintain an active research programme (including securing external research grants), and be responsible for teaching courses and supervising students at both graduate and undergraduate levels, as well as contributing to the administration of academic programmes.

Required selection criteria

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology, with a demonstrated track record of research and teaching, or sound indicators of such potential. Clinical experiences that can inform their teaching will be an asset.

The selected candidate will be offered a three-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal and with consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract; highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits; a contract- end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary and housing benefits.
