Duties of the position
The appointee will be expected to participate in research, teaching and administration; assist in research projects, research studies, publications and presentations; complete a dissertation agreement within 12-18 months, participate in teaching and independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement; supervise students; involve in the organisation of meetings, conferences and symposia and involve in the department administration ad well as in teaching and research administration.
Required selection criteria
Applicants should possess a complete diploma studies in the field of law; excellent academic performance, particularly in criminal law and criminal procedure law, demonstrable through examination results; very good knowledge of Austrian criminal law and criminal procedure law; strong written and oral communication skills; familiarity with university procedures; proficiency in computer skills and excellent English language skills (C1). You must be a team player with high social/communicative competence. Interest or knowledge of economics will be considered an advantage.
Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a basic salary of 3578,80 EUR on a full-time basis that will increase if professional experience can be credited, an inspiring work atmosphere and internal further training and coaching.
