To strengthen our team in the Faculty of Business and Globalisation / Department for Legal Studies and International Relations / Center for Intellectual Property, Media- and Innovation Law we are looking for a research associate
Your Tasks
- Collaboration in teaching and research at the Center for Intellectual Property, Media- and Innovation Law with a focus on copyright law and related fields
- Development, creation and supervision/organization of courses at the Center
- Communication work and public relations
- independent teaching activities
- scientific and organizational cooperation in ongoing third-party projects as well as in the acquisition of third-party funding
- Execution of project management tasks
- Course supervision on weekends (approx. one weekend during the lecture period)
Your profile
- completed university studies in law (at least Master/Diploma)
- knowledge of Austrian civil law (evidenced by relevant academic achievements, professional experience or list of publications)
- academic interest in the field of intellectual property law, data protection law, competition law and related areas of law (evidenced by a brief description of personal research interests and/or any publication plans in the letter of motivation)
- Ability and willingness to independent scientific work (demonstrated by submission of own academic texts, e.g. seminar papers or diploma theses as well as bachelor’s or master’s theses including existing expert opinions)
- excellent knowledge of German and English (both at least C1)
- Ability to work in a team, independence and flexibility
