The work of the offered PhD position will focus on the development of novel artificial intelligence methods or probabilistic graph models for modeling multimodal spatial lung cancer data. In particular, we are interested in proposing new models able to combine knowledge from multiple datasets of spatial tissue measurements, taking into account the temporal dimension (measurements will be at several time points). The project involves close collaboration with international experimental partners within the SPACETIME consortium. The PhD student will be supported in both artificial intelligence and data analysis of transctiptomics, metabolomics and spatial glycomics and will be embedded in a highly supportive, communicative team. The position is funded by a prestigious European RIA Mission Cancer grant.
