Every year, EUROCONTROL, the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation, offers more than 100 young people the opportunity to learn from its experts at its headquarters in Brussels (Belgium) and at its offices in Maastricht (Netherlands), Brétigny (France) and Luxembourg.
Eligible applicants must:
- Be a national of a EUROCONTROL or ECAC Member State.
- Be a higher education student, a PhD student or a recent graduate (and the placement must begin within 12 months of completing their studies).
- Meet the age requirements for their primary nationality.
- Have a good command of English and/or French.
- Be unemployed.
Conditions:
The placements last between 6 and 12 months, during which time trainees receive a monthly allowance of between €1,350 and €1,613, as well as reimbursement of travel and visa costs for non-EU citizens. A mentoring scheme ensures supervision and support from experts.

- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a telephone interview. They may also be asked to take specific tests, the results of which will be communicated within 2 to 3 weeks.
