The ILO Internship Programme offers a wide range of opportunities to postgraduate students and recent graduates seeking practical learning experience in fields related to the ILO’s mandate and activities for a period of three to six months.
Requirements:
- Students enrolled in the final year of a postgraduate programme (Master’s degree or equivalent) or in a higher education programme related to the work of the ILO, or who have completed such a programme in the year prior to applying.
- Possess a working knowledge of at least one of the ILO’s working languages (English, French or Spanish).

- Select the internship you wish to apply for and create a profile onILO Jobs.
- Complete your candidate profile and apply for the internship.
Benefits:
Interns receive a monthly stipend from the ILO based on the cost of living in the destination area, unless they receive funding from another institution (e.g. a university or a foundation). If interns receive partial funding, the ILO will cover the difference to ensure they receive the full monthly stipend.
