The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has launched a call for applications for work placements aimed at recent graduates and young professionals.
Trainees will provide support for the day-to-day operations of one of the EIT’s units in Budapest, where the EIT’s headquarters are located:
- Management and Administration;
- Innovation, Education and Communication;
- Knowledge and Innovation Communities departments.
- There is a possibility of being assigned to work at the EIT’s Liaison Office in Brussels.
Eligibility criteria:
- Nationals of EU Member States, EEA Member States, EFTA countries and candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine), as well as the potential candidate country (Kosovo). Ukrainian residents (recent graduates and early-career professionals) affected by the war in Ukraine are also encouraged to apply.
- Very good knowledge of English.
- Must have completed, by the application deadline, the first cycle of university studies and obtained a full university degree or its equivalent.
- Applicants must not have benefited from, nor currently be benefiting from, any form of placement or employment at a European institution or body; they must not have had, nor currently have, any paid or unpaid placements, nor have had any employment or other contractual relationship with existing Knowledge and Innovation Communities.
Duration: Six months from January 2027
Grants: €1,500 per month. Reimbursement of travel expenses.
Application deadline: 15 September 2026, 13:00 CEST.
