The aim of the traineeship programme is to enable European students and graduates to gain their first work experience in the EU’s public administration. Applications are currently being accepted for traineeships across all its areas of work: audit, translation, communication, institutional relations, legal services, general administration, library management, IT and artificial intelligence.
Requirements:
- be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union;
- have completed at least four semesters of university studies in a field relevant to the Court;
- not have previously benefited from an internship at any EU institution or body;
- have a thorough knowledge of one of the official languages of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of at least one other language.
Tasks to be performed:
As a trainee auditor, you will support a team of professional auditors in analysing the impact of EU policies, proposing improvements and detecting financial irregularities. You may even have to travel with your team to carry out audits in another EU country, allowing you to observe first-hand the work of European auditors in the field.
In non-audit departments, you will join one of our ongoing projects and work alongside the project team, under the supervision of the project manager or an experienced team member.
Benefits:
- These may be paid or unpaid, depending on budget availability. Remuneration will also vary depending on the internship programme.
