Once again, we will collaborate with the Debate Association of the University of Almeria.
What are our colleagues up to? No more and no less than the III edition of the “Indalo Tournament”, which will be a qualifier for the final phase of the Spanish University Debate League
on its 25th anniversary.
The proposed theme is as follows:
Should the EU implement stronger policies to advance gender equality?
Equality is a central issue for the social and economic development of any society. In the EU context, addressing this issue has implications for guaranteeing fundamental rights, reducing persistent inequalities and promoting more inclusive coexistence. Strong policies could be key to making progress in areas such as the wage gap, political participation and gender-based violence, impacting positively on social cohesion and economic sustainability in the region.
Is enough being done? The “Indalo Tournament” will try to resolve this question.
- DATE: 28th and 29th March 2025.
- PLACE AND TIME: University of Almeria and Provincial Council.

- The debates, both the qualifying rounds and the quarter-finals, will be held in Aulario 4 (Friday 28, from 16:00 hours to 20:30 hours; and Saturday 29, from 9:30 hours to 14:00 hours).

- The semi-finals will be held in the Health Building, Graduate and Conference Rooms (Saturday 29th, from 16:15 to 17:30).

- And the final + closing ceremony in the Patio de Luces de Diputación (Saturday 29th, from 18:00 to 20:30).
