The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, through the principal investigator Dr. Levente Tamas, from the Department of Automation, announces 1 open research position for an early-stage research engineer, funded from the project PN-III-P2-2.1-PED-2021-3120 (“VineEye”). The position lies at the intersection of the fields of robotics and computer vision. It will concern the development and experimental validation of novel 3D perception for the robotic systems.
The proposed employment period is 01 February 2024 — 30 Iune 2024, with an evaluation meeting 1 to 3 months after the contract start date where the PI and the candidate decide whether to continue the employment.

Informal discussions with the candidates will be organized, followed by a formal written examination on the 19th of January 2024.
