Today, 26 September, is the European Day of Languages. Therefore, from the European Documentation Centre of the UAL and the Language Centre of the UAL, we have decided to celebrate it in a more interactive way.
Throughout the week, a series of quizzes have been uploaded to our stories in 5 European languages: English, French, Italian, German and Polish. Each correct answer contained a secret letter, so by putting together the 5 secret letters of each day, you get a final word in each of the languages.
Each correct final word counts as an entry in the grand prize draw published today, Friday 26 September, the European Day of Languages. The winners will win the following prizes:
- A 20% discount on a course at the UAL Language Centre this academic year.
- Merchandising of the EU and the CDE of the UAL:
– 1 hooded sweatshirt
– 1 sweatshirt without hood
– 1 tote bag
– 1 notebook
– 1 tote bag
– 1 shopping bag
– 1 sports shorts
– Pens
– 1 EU map and more gifts.
The winners will be announced next Tuesday, 30th September. However, all those who participate will receive small gifts if they come to visit us at our centres. We hope it has been an entertaining and playful week, as well as educational.
