This news shows an analysis of the evolution of COVID-19 in America with the data provided by the Johns Hopkins University.
September has ended with an increase of 6.38% of COVID-19 diagnosed cases (89,964,588), and a growth of 4.62% (2,214,867) in deaths by the aforementioned disease. In August these numbers were 83,799,880 diagnosed cases and 2,103,067 deaths by the disease aforementioned.. The following graph shows the evolution of confirmed cases and deaths from COVD-19 during the months of August and September:

U.S.A. has been the country with the most COVID-19 diagnosed cases to date, with a total of 44,683,014 (an increase of 9.47% durign the month of September). This same country was also the one with the highest number of diagnosed cases of Coronavirus during August (39,151,147). Data for U.S.A., Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Mexico, the countries with the most significant numbers of confirmed cases, are presented below:
Likewise, this country has remain the one with the highest number of deaths due to COVID-19, with a total of 719,525 (an increase of 8.11% during the month of September). In August, its number of deaths was of 639,856. The evolution of countries that have ended September with the highest number of deaths are shown below:
With regard to larger percentage increases in cases diagnosed by COVID-19, the following table shows a comparison between which countries are the ones with a larger increment in August and September:

As it is seen, Cuba was the country with the highest rate of diagnosed cases of COVID-19 during August, with an increase of 60.18%. On the other hand, this spot was taken by Chile in September, with an increase of 85.47%.

The table shows that in August the country with the highest increase was Cuba (79.16%), meanwhile in September Saint Lucia was the one with the highest increase (86.11%).
