Chaired and coordinated by the Regional Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Regional Government of Andalusia, through the General Secretariat for External Action, the European Information Network of Andalusia is a grouping of the existing European information centres in this Autonomous Community, with the aim of optimising their work. These centres facilitate access to information on the European Union to the entire population, establishing links between people and the European Union.

The Network integrates various areas of work: information, dissemination, awareness-raising and advice on all issues related to the process of European integration. These actions are set out annually in the Activity Plan.

The European Information Network of Andalusia is constituted as a system with the following elements:

• Information sending centres: Administrations and Entities that form part of the Network.
• Information transmission channel: Website www.andaluciaeuropa.com and material and human resources of the information centres integrated in the Network.
• End users of the information: Groups and individuals with specific information needs on the European Union and Andalusian society in general.
• Contents: Information, training, advice and dissemination of issues related to the European Union.
