The Charlemagne Prize Fellowship is a one-year programme for non-resident researchers run by the European Academy of the Charlemagne Prize, aimed at young European researchers, next-generation policy experts, innovators and opinion leaders working to improve the European Union.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification (preferably a Master’s degree or equivalent)
- Under 35 years of age
- Professional-level English (minimum C1)
- Citizen of an EU Member State or resident in Europe for the duration of the project.
- Submission of an innovative research proposal, consistent with the annual focus.
- Current and future relevance of the proposed research question.
- Proposal from a host institution for the duration of the fellowship.
Profile:
- University graduates, young professionals and employees of scientific, political, economic or cultural institutions or organisations.
- Individuals or groups wishing to conduct research on a specific topic over a period of 12 months
- Reliable individuals with previous research experience.
