Are you interested in artificial intelligence, software development and digital transformation? The European Central Bank (ECB) is looking for an intern to join the Language Support and Innovation Section of its Directorate-General for Communications in Frankfurt am Main (Germany).
What will you be doing?
- Help design solutions involving workflow management, AI capabilities, integrations and reporting;
- Support the evaluation of technological options and proof-of-concept testing;
- Contribute to process modelling, user journeys and future state operational models;
- Coordinate with stakeholders from the business and IT areas;
- Provide support for low-code development using Mendix;
- Provide support for web development (Node.js) and AI development (Python).
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in information systems, computer science, business information systems, data science, engineering, digital transformation, business analytics or a related field;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, C#, Java or another programming language;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to structure complex information and present results clearly;
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite;
- An advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official EU language, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The following are desirable:
- Knowledge of business analysis and low-code platforms (such as Mendix).
- An interest in multilingual communication.
- Motivation for digital transformation and innovation within European institutions
