Internationally recognized generalist engineering school of the IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom), leading French engineering school (Technological University), IMT Atlantique aims to support transitions, train responsible engineers, and use scientific excellence to serve teaching, research and innovation.
As part of the NExT CAES project, which aims to investigate a new expansion machine for air compression energy storage processes, we are recruiting a post-doctoral fellow in Process Engineering in our Energy Systems and Environment department.In collaboration with the project team, you will establish the state of the art, identify a relevant expansion machine and develop this expansion machine.You will also contribute to the promotion of the project results through scientific publications.
REQUERIMENTS:
Skills/Qualifications
You have knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, turbomachinery and engines.You have skills in programming and simulation languages and tools (Python, Matlab, etc.) and in test bench dimensioning and instrumentation.You have good writing skills (French/English) and scientific interpersonal skills.You are autonomous, adaptable and enjoy working as part of a team.You must have a PhD in Physics/Engineering Sciences obtained less than 3 years before the date of recruitment.
