Duties of the position
The appointee will be expected to elaborate scientific papers, patents and research reports; participate in project meetings and scientific events; teamwork with other project members and play a leadership role in defining scientific research.
Required selection criteria
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in electrical engineering or related areas obtained less than 7 years ago, and excellent level of English. It is desired to have previous knowledge in digital and wireless communication, physical layer of wireless communication systems, multicarrier waveforms, multiple access and channel stimulation; numeral simulation environments (Matlab and Mathematica); programming languages Python, C++ and C, Intelligent Artificial Optimization techniques; machine learning; and 5G, 6G, IoT and embedded systems. Demonstrated relevant academic production in high-impact scientific journals and Advanced English proficiency will be considered advantages too.
Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a Postdoctoral Fellowship stipend ranging from R$ 9.000,00 up to R$ 12.000,00 per month, depending on the curriculum analysis, and a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual fellowship value to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.
