Esade Business School invites applications for its MRes/PhD in Management Sciences program starting in September 2026.
We are looking for candidates from various disciplines (Management, Economics, Engineering, Psychology, Sociology, and other disciplines related to management) who are highly motivated, enthusiastic about the creation of new knowledge, and interested in pursuing an international career in research.

About the Doctoral Programme:
This program offers rigorous academic training and a vibrant international research environment.
It is structured with a two-year Master of Research (MRes), which comprises specialized research coursework, and three years dedicated to the development of the PhD dissertation. Direct entry to the Esade PhD is contingent on being in possession of an eligible Master of Research in business and management sciences from another university.

For the September 2026 intake, Esade is looking for 12 applicants in the following areas of specialization include: Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation and Sustainability, Supply Chain & Operations Management, Innovation and Knowledge Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance and Geopolitics and Public Management. Each specialization provides an exciting and rigorous environment for students to receive intensive research training and conduct high-quality research.
Scholarships and Living Stipends:
All students admitted to the Esade doctoral program receive a full scholarship.
For the September 2026 intake, Esade provides 12 scholarships that include all tuition fees (25,000€ for the MRes) and living stipend for the two-year MRes, which is 17.406€ per year. For the PhD tuition fee is 5,000€ per year and living stipend of 17.650€ during the 1st and 2nd year and 18.912€ for 3rd year. During the PhD, candidates will also have access to additional financial support for conference presentations and research visits.
