IMDEA Food Foundation, in collaboration with the European University of Madrid, research centres and hospitals in the Community of Madrid, is looking for a pre-doctoral researcher interested in carrying out a doctoral thesis within the CD3DTech-CM project.
The project focuses on the development and validation of new strategies for personalised clinical nutrition through the use of 3D technologies and innovative study models. It includes a human clinical trial aimed at evaluating the efficacy and safety of advanced nutritional interventions in coeliac patients.
The doctoral thesis will be linked to the PhD Programme in Biomedicine and Health Sciences, with an applied focus on clinical nutrition and personalised medicine.
Research objectives
- To evaluate the efficacy of new nutritional interventions in the coeliac population.
- To study mechanisms of action at metabolic and molecular level.
- Coordinate and support the recruitment, execution and dissemination phases of the clinical trial.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from hospitals, universities and research centres.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a highly motivated pre-doctoral researcher with a scientific vocation and the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments, interested in the field of clinical nutrition applied to human health.
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
- Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition (prerequisite for access to PhD)
- Previous experience in clinical nutrition research or related studies
- ISAK Level 1 certification in anthropometry
- Use of the nutritional software DIAL
- C1 level of English with scientific reading, writing and speaking skills
- Motivation for research and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Desirable:
- Experience in nutritional assessment techniques
- Participation in scientific congresses or conferences
- Organisational skills, teamwork, effective communication and problem solving
