This thesis is part of the research activities of IRL REHABS (George Campus, South Africa), with a French base at the LBBE. In any case, the thesis will be co-supervised by Dr C. Guerbois of the Sustainability Research Unit at Nelson Mandela University.
This thesis involves long-term assignment on the campus of George, South Africa, and many field trips sometimes with limited means of communication. This implies good organization and good autonomy. In addition, the participatory approaches developed in this thesis require good communication skills and developed social skills. A good command of English is expected, and a participatory science or citizen science experience is desirable. The ability to travel, and past African stays, are definite assets for the realization of the work.
