Duties
- Participation in research and collaboration in research projects, particularly in the areas of digitalization, the potential and impacts of digitalization, and artificial intelligence (AI) as an information system in the organizational and corporate context (incl. SMEs). The focus lies on researching AI as an information system, application of information systems, and AI applications, as well as societal aspects of the application of information systems (incl. AI)
- Teaching duties at the institute (in German and English) on Bachelor and Master level
- Assistance with institute administration and course coordination
- Possibility to work on the dissertation based on a specific topic
Qualification and requirements
- The successful candidate must hold a diploma/master’s degree in business informatics, computer science or business administration with a corresponding specialization or equivalent qualification or equivalent university degree abroad
- Interest in research in the fields of digitalization and digital transformation, AI as an information system on the conceptual and model level, research on the identification of potential and impacts in the context of digitalization, as well as AI applications in organizations and companies
- Very good written and spoken German and English (German level C1, English level C1)
- Experience in relevant research projects and/or relevant practical experience as well as experience in teaching are recommended
- Experience in the conceptualization, planning, implementation, or management of AI applications (as information systems) in organizations and companies (incl. SMEs), as well as knowledge regarding societal aspects of AI applications
- Social competence and personal engagement are required
