The PLURAL Youth Video Festival invites young people aged 25 and under to submit original and creative short films focusing on the themes of migration, diversity, social inclusion and the prevention of xenophobia.
Who can take part?
Young people aged 25 or under at the time of production. The festivalis organised into three age categories:
- up to 12 years old.
- Aged 13 to 17
- 18 to 25 years old.
Several young people can work together to make a video, provided that all members of the group are aged 25 or under.
How to submit videos
To submit a video for consideration, participants must first complete theonline form.
Videos can be submitted:
- Via a video streaming platform (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo). If this option is chosen, the participant will be asked to include the video URL in the online form.
- Via a cloud storage platform(such as Dropbox or Google Drive) where the participant’s video is stored. If you choose this option, you must include the video URL in the online form.
Prizes:
- The PLURAL International Jury Award is awarded by an international jury to one video per age category, and three videos will receive theSpecial Recognition for Combating Xenophobia and Discrimination, theSpecial Recognition for Responsible Narrative on Migration, and the Special Recognition on AI for #OneHumanity, which will be awarded to short films on the theme.
- The winners will also be invited to the PLURAL Awards ceremony in late 2026.
