On Wednesday 21 May, from 16h, will take place in the Sala de Grados del CITE V of the University of Almeria the I Jornada científica Investigando desde el CEMyRI: PERSONAS MIGRANTES Y SALUD.
Laura Oso, Professor of Sociology at the University of A Coruña, will participate as a guest researcher . Her research work has focused mainly on the study of gender and migration and, specifically, on the insertion of migrant women in the labour market. She also works on the nexus between gender, migration and development. And, specifically, on the impact of migration on the development of devitalised environments.
The results of several research projects funded by the Centre for the Study of Migration and Intercultural Relations, CEMyRI, which address issues related to health and migrants, will also be presented.
This conference is the result of the collaboration between the European Documentation Centre of Almeria (CDE) and CEMyRI and will be broadcast in streaming through the link https://bit.ly/ual-cite5.
