Next 26 September is the European Day of Languages. To mark the occasion, the UAL European Documentation Centre and the UAL Language Centre have decided to celebrate it in a more interactive way.
Throughout the week, we will launch the ‘Language Escape Room: Code Babel’ on Instagram Stories – a virtual activity in which a challenge is posted every day in a different European language, with the aim of solving specific puzzles to enter the final prize draw.
The following prizes will be raffled amongst all the finalists:
- 1st place: 25% discount on a course at the UAL Language Centre for the 2026/2027 academic year, along with a CDE merchandise pack.
- 2nd place: a 15 per cent discount on a course at the UAL Language Centre for the 2026/2027 academic year, along with a CDE merchandise pack.
- 3rd place: an exclusive CDE merchandise pack
This competition remains open on our Instagram profile until 29 September, with the winners of the prize draw to be announced the following day.
The aim of this activity is to promote multilingualism and the cultural and linguistic diversity that exists in Europe, whilst offering a fun activity that engages the general public and sparks their interest in the topic.
