The IAA-CSIC, a research center located in Granada, awarded with the “Severo Ochoa” excellence mention in 2018 from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, occupies a strong and unique position in astrophysics and space research in Spain.
The CSIC is offering pos-doc positions based on our “Severo Ochoa” scientific strategy, that is focused on three scientific pillars and interweave increasing spatial scales:
(1) Towards the understanding of planetary systems;
(2) Star formation in the Milky Way and the Local Universe;
(3) Galaxy Evolution and Cosmology. We will specifically strengthen research in these areas, with an emphasis on creating and profiting from synergies between the different research groups at the IAA.
The selected candidates will perform her/his own research in an internationally sound environment, and will have access to the internal calls for financial support for travelling within the “Severo Ochoa” program.
