GenAIDE (Generative AI for Industrial Design Engineering) is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network (RD) funded by the European Union, whose objective is to research and develop collaborative AI systems that partner with engineers for next-generation industrial engineering design. Within the network, 14 doctoral students will conduct research at 16 leading academic and industrial partners.
Candidates will have the opportunity to visit several network partners, supported by a mobility grant. At the Chair of Machine Learning for Complex Networks, we are looking for a candidate as a research scientist in the GenAIDE project, who will collaborate with our partners DATEV eG and Honda Research GmbH. The specific focus of this position is the use of AI to support software development teams. A vacancy is currently open for a doctoral student to work on the GenAIDE project.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent, e.g. diploma) in a discipline related to AI, e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering or natural sciences.
- Proven skills in software engineering, as well as experience with web technologies and data visualisation.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Germany for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the date of recruitment.
