EIT Jumpstarter offers a 7-month pre-acceleration programme for early-stage innovators from over 28 countries and territories. The programme supports these innovators in transforming scientific ideas into viable start-ups through training, mentoring and a structured entrepreneurial process that culminates in an international pitch competition.
Eligible thematic areas:
Participants will develop their ideas within one of six thematic clusters aligned with Europe’s key innovation priorities: Food and Agri-Tech (EIT Food), Health (EIT Health), Energy and Renewable Energy (InnoEnergy), Advanced and Sustainable Manufacturing (EIT Manufacturing), Metals, Minerals, Advanced Materials and Industrial By-products (EIT RawMaterials) and Smart Cities and Urban Mobility (EIT Urban Mobility).
Requirements:
- Young innovators from EU Member States, the EU’s outermost regions or countries and territories associated with Horizon Europe.
Benefits
- Participants have the opportunity to compete for over €240,000 in funding, including prizes of €10,000, €5,000 and €3,000 for the best teams in each thematic group.
- Special prizes of €2,500 will be awarded to the best projects from the EU’s outermost regions, the Western Balkans and Ukraine, as well as to solutions aligned with the New European Bauhaus initiative.
- Over 55 hours of business training, expert mentoring, professional presentation development and access to the EIT’s pan-European innovation network.
