Celebrate Europe’s linguistic diversity by taking part in the ‘Languages Bring Us Together’ competition. Answer the questions correctly as they are published throughout September and you could win daily prizes, as well as a grand prize at the end.
Once again this year, to mark the EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES #EDLangs, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Translation and the European Commission’s Representation in Spain are organising the ‘Languages Bring Us Together’ competition on Instagram, focusing on the European Union and its languages.
Throughout September 2026, 10 questions on EU languages – or relating to culture, multilingualism, translation, literature and EU countries – will be posted on the Instagram profile of the European Commission Representation in Spain.
Every day, one winner will be drawn at random from among all those who have correctly answered the question of the day. On the final day of the competition, 26 September, one overall winner will be drawn at random from among all participants and will receive the competition’s grand prize (an eBook reader).
