A tender is open for the attribution of one Research Scholarship (BI) to Students holders of a Master degree who are enrolled in courses that do not lead to an academic degree;within the scope of the project P3.3 New process for valorization of sub-products from pulp and paper production, Transform – Agenda, taking place at Resource Management & Landscape Architecture Group, LEAF, of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, financed by IAPMEI/PRR/Aviso 02/C05-i01/2022 – Agendas Mobilizadoras para a Inovação Empresarial, to develop the following tasks: final version of technical data sheets of products, product efficacy tests in agroforestry practices and assessment of environmental harmlessness; dissemination of project results.
The tender is intended for the attribution of one Scholarship of R&D activities (BI) for students holders of a Master degree who are enrolled in courses that do not lead to an academic degree, for a length time of 6 months, possibly renewable up to a maximum of 12 months, scheduled to start in January 2025.
Duties of the position
– Preparation of final versions of technical data sheets of products obtained from industrial residues and sub-products for the production of fertilizers;
– Product efficacy tests in agroforestry practices and assessment of environmental harmlessness;
– Dissemination of project results.
The work will be developed at Chemistry and Environment Group, Department of Sciences and Engineering of Biosystems (DCEB) of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, under the supervision of Professor Cristina Cunha Queda.
Required selection criteria
- – Scientific area Agriculture Engineering/ Forestry Engineering or related areas
- With skills in training and experience in the area of physical-chemical characterization of industrial residues and sub-products, knowledge of fertilizer requirements and product efficacy tests in agroforestry practices and assessment of environmental harmlessness.
- Other requirements: Good level of oral and written, of the English language.
The grant will be financed by IAPMEI/PRR/Aviso 02/C05-i01/2022 – Agendas Mobilizadoras para a Inovação Empresarial within the scope of the project P3.3 New process for valorization of sub-products from pulp and paper production, Transform – Agenda.
The amount of the monthly allowance is 1.259,64 € plus the reimbursement of voluntary social insurance, according to the table of values of monthly allowances, set out in Annex I of Regulation No. 950/2019
The payment will be made via bank transfer.
